The owner of an Irish bar in Tel Aviv has said the conflict in the region is “very distressing” and has had a major impact on his business.

The conflict has left Molly Blooms Irish bar in Tel Aviv understaffed and many of its customers scared to leave their homes.The owner of an Irish bar in Tel Aviv has said the conflict in the region is “very depressing” for people living in the area.

“Unfortunately, I was involved in the Lebanese War in 1982, which was not a great time but an experience in life, I suppose,” he said. After he left the IDF, Mr Siegel set up Tel Aviv’s first Irish bar, Molly Blooms, despite describing locals as “not big drinkers”.
