An inmate in Central Ohio is back in custody after a brief escape Thursday.The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office confirmed to ABC 6 that Mark Ashbrook 'escaped

Mark Ashbrook was taken back into custody after escaping for about an hour and a half Thursday.The Fairfield County Sheriff's Office confirmed to ABC 6 that Mark Ashbrook "escaped from the custody of a private transport company" Thursday morning.Ashbrook was being transported to the jail from a rehabilitation facility when he ran off.

"This individual ... decided that he didn't want to come into the jail and he took off across the street," Sheriff Alex Lape said. Lape added that his team and other law-enforcement officers set up a command post and a perimeter to begin their search that lasted about 90 minutes. "Some of the investigators put together some potential addresses where this individual may be," he said. "They went to that location and found him there."
