Households from Concord to Alamo were left without power on Saturday morning after three PG&E outages affected more than 8,400 customers in the region.
The outage began about 8:41 am Saturday. As of 10 a.m., the company had still not determined a cause for the outage, a PG&E representative said. The power was not expected to return until 3:30 p.m. The first affected area spans from Concord’s Dana Estates neighborhood through Canterbury Village. A second outage was registered from Walnut Creek’s Diablo Shadows and Rancho Paraiso neighborhoods down to those in Alamo, stopping just short of Monte Vista High School in Danville.
A third outage overlapped with the second, with some neighborhoods in Walnut Creek not expected to regain power until 6:45 pm Saturday night.Miss Manners: I don't find it adorable what she has trained her dog to doDear Abby: He says he's not forcing us to eat it, but basically he isDear Abby: An unmade quilt has undercut our friendship.
