with CEOs like Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter’s Jack Dorsey were typical for a party seeking to boost its appeal to tech-savvy young voters. But this year’s Democratic presidential field is sounding a much different message — from Bernie Sanders’ complaints about Amazon’s wages and tax avoidance to Amy Klobuchar’s pledge to enact data privacy laws.
Klobuchar sounded the theme at the very start of her campaign, during the announcement speech in February where she stood in blowing snow in Minneapolis. The 2020 Election. The New Congress.
