A £500,000 upgraded football pitch is now up and running in Stanley Park following investment from Blackpool Council and the Football Foundation.
Benefits of the 3G pitch include: better drainage enabling it to be used all year without getting muddy; less risk of injury due to underlay which absorbs the impact of falls; looks and feels like natural grass; can withstand intensive usage without showing wear and tear; and low maintenance so can be used daily.
