Annie Leal, founder of I Love Chamoy, runs a “perfect” business, Mark Cuban said recently on ABC’s “Shark Tank.” Here’s why…

On Friday's episode of ABC's"Shark Tank," Mark Cuban called a CEO's business"perfect" — and promptly rejected it.

I Love Chamoy's projected sales for 2023, Leal said: nearly $4 million, including roughly $1.5 million in profit. She's the company's sole employee, she added. Leal asked the Sharks for $300,000 of funding, in exchange for 5% of her company. The money — and an investor's sage advice — would help her make a"bigger footprint" in retail, she said.

Just one factor prevented Cuban from extending an offer."It's not my taste," he told Leal."I just couldn't be out there saying, 'It's a great product, but it's not great for me' ... I'm out."
