Pfizer’s Earnings Are Tuesday. Here’s What to Expect.

Two weeks after drastically reducing its forecast for sales of its Covid-19 products, Pfizer is set to report its third-quarter earnings on Tuesday.

Analysts expect Pfizer to report a loss for the quarter of 8 cents a share from sales of $13.3 billion, according to FactSet. That compares with a profit of 58 cents a share before the update. Pfizer stock is down nearly 10% since the new forecasts emerged, though it rose 1.2% on Oct. 16, the trading day after the announcement.
