A woman’s body has been found in the Upper Hunter region of NSW, prompting a police critical incident investigation. Police are treating the location in Sydney St, Muswellbrook, as a crime scene following the discovery.
The circumstances of the woman’s death are unclear and will be investigated under Strike Force Llangollen. A critical incident team will investigate “all other circumstances surrounding the incident”, police said. That investigation will be subject to an independent review. Police are due to provide more information at 11.30am on Tuesday.
