Oswald Jumira will now act as CEO for Liquid Intelligent Technologies efforts in cloud and cybersecurity across Africa.

Liquid Intelligent Technologies has announced the appointment of a new CEO for its Liquid C2 arm.Jumira is now tasked to grow Liquid C2 which is looking to build six cybersecurity fusion centres across Africa in the near future.On Thurday, Liquid announced the appointment of a new leader for its cloud computing wing, Liquid C2.

The firm has appointed Oswald Jumira as CEO of the business unit, a veteran in the industry who was previously chief executive of Vaya Technologies, which, like Liquid, is part of Cassava Technologies group. Now as head of Liquid C2, Jumira’s mandate is to drive growth, innovation and strategy in the cloud and cybersecurity arm of the company.“Oswald’s appointment as CEO of our Cloud and Cyber Security business was a natural choice for us.

“He has deep industry relationships, is well respected for his ability to execute business plans and is the right person to drive Liquid C2’s growth and securely enabling the digital transformation journeys of our customers,” Pemhiwa added.to the company, Jumira has over 15 years of experience in technology and business development heading efforts across Africa.

Prior to this Jumira worked in the highly competitive fintech startup space in Nigeria and Kenya, two of Africa’s busiest technology hubs. Jumira also worked for the Econet Group as Executive Head of Strategy and partnerships for Cumii International and Executive Assistant to the Group CEO of Econet Services. He holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
