Southeast Asian firms' divestment intent near record levels: poll

Shoppers in a Jakarta boutique. South-east Asian enterprises that expect rising divestments as a result of technology-driven changes have increased to 71% of respondents, from 68% in 2018.

SOUTH-EAST Asian enterprises' intentions to divest remain near record levels as they look to gain a competitive edge in the face of changing technology and sector convergence, EY Global Corporate Divestment Study 2019 has shown.
