A family is mourning the loss of a father killed in a motorcycle crash in South Australia, just weeks after the death of his brother. Father-of-two Rod Savage, 58, from St Agnes, died when his motorcycle and a sedan collided in Cuddle Creek on Sunday.
Man killed in SA crash lost brother only weeks before. In a sad twist, Savage’s brother died from a heart attack only five weeks ago. Savage’s distraught wife and daughter are overseas and trying to return home. He is the 19th motorcyclist to lose their life on South Australia’s roads this year. The Motorcycle Riders Association met with SA police on Monday to discuss the high motorbike road toll, and pleaded with police for training for new riders to be improved.
