Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two Interactive revealed that the GTA 6 launch window won't be affected by the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

As part of Take-Two Interactive’s recently concluded earnings call for Q2 2024, CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed that the GTA 6 launch window will occur as intended between April 2024 and March 2025. Zelnick also assuaged fears that the game’s release would be affected by the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, stating: “Negotiations are expected to resume next week; we’re optimistic.

” With the GTA 6 trailer release date also having recently been revealed by Rockstar Games President Sam Houser, Zelnick also shared their team’s excitement at the announcement while also noting that there will inevitably be an impact on their current catalog of games upon release, including GTA Online. In addition, the Take-Two CEO also answered questions on generative AI during the latter portion of the earnings call, stating that “it gives us the opportunity to do more and do better.
