: The global level launch of Visit Melaka Year 2024 was held in London in conjunction with the World Travel Market 2023 from Nov 6 to today.

“WTM2023 is one of the biggest tourism exhibitions in the world held at ExCel London. Participation in the exhibition marks an important milestone in promoting Melaka as a leading tourist destination in the world,“ according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office today. “Various activities including cultural performances, art exhibitions, music festivals and gastronomy fairs will be held to showcase Melaka’s culture and heritage.

The statement also said five cooperation agreements were exchanged at WTM2023 to establish cooperation in promoting the tourism industry, especially ‘inbound’ tourism to Melaka.
