A Queensland father-of-two is stranded overseas in a coma following a serious scooter crash. Brenton Simmons, 28, was riding a scooter with his partner in Thailand when they crashed into a concrete barrier. Simmons suffered serious head injuries in the crash. He has injured 57 per cent of his brain and is paralysed down one side, a family member told 7NEWS.com.au. “He has seven broken ribs, a broken collar bone and a damaged eye socket,” his loved ones wrote in a GoFundMe for the family.
