The Beacon Hospital, one of the country’s largest private hospitals, has been acquired by Macquarie, the Australian asset management firm, in a deal worth up to €500m. The hospital, majority owned by businessman Denis O’Brien, has been sold to Macquarie’s European Infrastructure Fund 7, which has raised €8 billion from investors.
This acquisition is one of the largest deals of the year.
