An accomplished Adelaide musician has been identified as the victim of a crash in the city’s north on Wednesday. Dominic Meehan, 31, was killed after his car hit a tree just after 8am on Main North Rd, Brahma Lodge.
Musician who recently recovered from cancer victim of ‘horrific crash’. Witnesses described the wreckage as a “horrific scene”. Meehan was a talented saxophone player for the Unley Concert Band. He was also its vice-president and deputy music director. He won the national title in the 2015 Open Woodwind Champion of Champions title at the Centenary of ANZAC Australian National Band Championships in Sydney.
