US business magazine Forbes has named Adam Sandler as the highest paid actor of 2023. Margot Robbie came second.

, Sandler made $73 million thanks to his Netflix movies Leo, Murder Mystery 2 and You’re So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah, as well as his stand-up comedy shows.

In second place less surprisingly was Barbie star Margot Robbie who is said to have earned $59 million, followed in third place by Tom Cruise with $45 million. Forbes notes that Cruise’s earnings came in part from the latest Mission: Impossible movie, as well as “streaming and on-demand profits” for 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick.

In joint fourth and fifth place was Robbie’s Barbie co-star Ryan Gosling and Air/Oppenheimer headliner Matt Damon both with $43 million. You can see a full list of the top 10 highest paid actors for 2023 below.
