The peaceful market town has plenty to offer residents and tourists

In the past the historic town of Southwell has been deemed the UK's most perfect market town, and it is no stranger to the Muddy Stiletto's roundup of the best places to live in Nottinghamshire. Tourists are quick to flock to this picturesque area, whether it be for the stunning cathedral or one of the town's many events such as the Southwell Music Festival or the Bramley Apple Festival.

The town has always been a well-regarded area, with fantastic schools, community values and boutique businesses.
