February auto sales hit an all-time high for the month after jumping 24.4 per cent from last year, reaching 129,000 units. This surpasses the sales of February 2020, just before the pandemic, and marks the 16th consecutive month of year-over-year growth. The seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.1 million units for the month is the highest since January 2018. Andrew King, managing partner at DesRosiers, states that the industry has overcome many challenges, including supply constraints of new vehicles.
