A 21-year-old man is missing at a popular but notoriously dangerous waterfall in far north Queensland. The man went into the water at Crystal Cascades, west of Cairns, on Sunday afternoon.
He failed to resurface, sparking a desperate search operation that is continuing on Monday. Police divers are expected to attend the site later during the day. The man is believed to be a tourist. A Melbourne father and son, aged 59 and 21, in April last year were the most recent swimmers to die at Crystal Cascades. More to come ...
