A man is in hospital after a violent home invasion by a group of armed men in Sydney’s southwest. The masked men broke into the home of a 42-year-old man on Ravenswood St in Canley Vale about 11pm on Monday night.

The 42-year-old man was assaulted inside the home during the invasion. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital with a number of injuries. The armed men fled the scene with cash taken from inside the home in a black Audi Q5 SUV. A manhunt is now underway for the men.
