Beebird Logistics has provided a direct mail service between Australia and China for years. However, the company is currently plagued by months-long delays, with parcels missing for almost half a year.

Perth courier company Beebird Logistics has all but vanished, leaving hundreds of customers' packages unaccounted for.The ABC was able to contact Beebird director Bruce Shibo Sun, who says the company is working to resolve the issues.

Lin Zhu is one of 250 people who have joined an online group where customers have been sharing their experiences."I asked around Chinese community, and then I find many people like me that are experiencing these challenges," Ms Zhu said.Ms Zhu said one of the two parcels she sent arrived in China in December, but the other went missing.

In emails seen by the ABC, Consumer Protection told customers it hasn't been able to contact Beebird Logistics, despite trying through various methods.Visiting the company's business premises revealed an almost empty warehouse.Warehouse employee Jordan Perazzelli said people have been turning up at the address looking for Beebird ever since his company took over the lease."When we first checked it out, there was just absolute rubbish everywhere, just a mess," he said.

The letter also explained that Beebird had cut back its customer service availability to save on costs, but had a group chat with over 400 customers where Mr Sun would "sometimes express his commitment to resolving the situation".Consumer Protection Commissioner Trish Blake said the timeline of delayed and failed deliveries since November may constitute a breach of consumer law.
