Real estate investment group Simon said the redevelopment"paves the way for the continued evolution" of the mall,"bringing more of the respected names in luxury retail and desirable dining and entertainment destinations to the Indianapolis property," which is located near North Keystone Avenue and East 86th Street.
Simon said retailers, dining and entertainment options will be added to the mall, along with an outdoor plaza and new office space, as part of a multi-story project on the southeastern section of the building. No specific new stores or restaurants have been announced. The current Saks Fifth Avenue location will close later this year as part of the plan, according to Simon, and the redevelopment will then begin.
