Racing NSW Stewards have confirmed Saturday’s action at Royal Randwick will go ahead despite all the rain that has been dumped on Sydney over the past 24 hours. Randwick has been hit with a mind-blowing 230mm of rain in the past 24 hours and vision has surfaced of just how much water has been running through the track early on Saturday. Many fans were wondering just when the day would be officially postponed, given it was impossible to see how the track would be fit for racing.
