Sudbury continues to work towards establishing this municipality as a key player in the supply chain for the battery electric vehicle industry.
"As automotive manufacturers move to fully electric vehicles by 2040, this event brings together leaders from across Canada to focus on the entire BEV supply chain," said a conference news release. The event will kick off with a dinner on May 29 followed by the all-day conference of speakers, panel forums and workshops on May 30. Speakers will include Ontario mines minister George Pirie, Sudbury mayor Paul Lefebvre and several industry leaders representing the automotive, battery manufacture and mining industries.
