Australia’s graduate job market has been red-hot, but there are early signs that the number of roles has started to wane.

The softening of the jobs market for graduates probably reflects the more challenging economic circumstances that businesses find themselves in.“The graduate hiring market is unique in the sense that businesses are making hiring choices for roles that won’t be filled for many months and up to a year,” Mr Pickering said.

An international student from Vietnam, Ms Vu, 21, has applied for more than 100 jobs over the past few months.
