Melbourne superstar Clayton Oliver has been “exposed” after being shifted to the backline during the Demons’ disastrous loss to Brisbane. The fancied Demons were completely picked apart by a rampaging Lions side with only some late goals adding respectability to the scoreboard.

Oliver’s defensive effort exposed. As Brisbane dominated in every area of the game, Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin threw the magnets around, including moving ball-magnet Oliver to the backline. Oliver, who came into the match struggling with a finger injury, didn’t record a disposal until late in the first quarter and was relatively quiet throughout.
