JOHANNESBURG - Finance Minister Tito Mboweni has promised to comment on investigative journalist Pieter-Louis Myburgh's book that places ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule at the centre of state capture.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Mboweni said he will read the book and hopes to finish it on Sunday and give his opinion by Monday next week.Mboweni, however, did indicate his displeasure about the book's title, saying he dislikes books that"forces a reader to agree with the writer's conclusion".In the book, he places Magashule at the centre of alleged involvement in state capture.
I look forward to the comments .
ASAP.
Mboweni opines that the title of the book GangsterState, forces the reader to agree with the author: How so? The title of any non-fiction work is the author's summary of what it's about, and it is up to the reader to check through the evidence presented & come to a conclusion.
At least Mboweni will read the book GangsterState before commenting, unlike the rest of his comrades in the ANC, who insulted the author PLMyburgh & rejected his conclusions without bothering to read it & check through his evidence!
Never a dull moment with our Finance Minister
Watch your back Tito, they might set Jessie on you 😳🇿🇦
DDMabuza when he comments, should we take him serious this time?
I'm fed up of reading and watching corruption news , and we are not told about reforms that will be done, to restructure the system in such a way that it will be impossible for others to steal public money in future. We just talk and talk about corruption.
