SINGAPORE: Mediacorp won 19 awards at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards 2024, including five golds. The company also took home five silver and nine bronze awards, it said in a media release on Thursday (Apr 18).

Mediacorp won 19 awards at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards 2024, including five golds.The company also took home five silver and nine bronze awards, it said in a media release on Thursday .

The accolades were largely in recognition of documentary and current affairs programmes by CNA, as well as drama content, Mediacorp said on Thursday.One of the gold awards went to CNA's The Exiles, which came out tops in the Documentary - History & Society category.

The final gold won was awarded to JUO Studio’s After Dark Season 2 - Skin Deep, a horror anthology series which took home the prize in the special visual effects category.
