He was so appalled, in fact, that he washed his hands of the whole outrageous venture, and the Pythons had to raise £2m in a hurry.
and yet, People are still offended by the Film and can't take it as a Joke... That's one of the sadness things about the whole 'Monty Python' Story... So wrapped up in Dogma and blind belief (ironically) they could see then and won't sed now.. the Joke is on them.
