PETALING JAYA: Some consumers, such as freight companies, will continue to enjoy diesel at the subsidised price via fleet cards despite the ongoing rationalisation of subsidies, says the finance ministry.

In a statement on Facebook, the ministry said that it will handle the diesel subsidy rationalisation mechanism together with the domestic trade and cost of living ministry , through the subsidised diesel control system 2.0.“Once they obtain approval under KPDN’s MySubsidi Diesel system, companies in the land transport sector can get fleet cards from select petrol companies to purchase diesel at the subsidised price,” its statement read.
