Shocking footage shared on social media appears to show an NRL fan headbutting a security guard during an ugly melee in the crowd during the Wests Tigers clash with Brisbane at Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday night. The fan-filmed video shows supporters from either side of a temporary fence on set up on the hill at the northern side of the ground.
Ugly fight breaks out in the crowd at NRL match. A man in a black shirt shoves his way past a Wests fan to get to the centre of the commotion before appearing to headbutt a security guard who had been trying to defuse the situation. Witnesses around the incident collectively gasped in shock over the hit. The man was quickly taken to the ground as people in the area became more densely congregated.
