A young woman accused of biting a police officer during her arrest in Adelaide’s north has been charged. South Australia Police were called to the Red Lion Hotel on Woodford Rd in Elizabeth North on Monday afternoon after the 24-year-old Davoren Park woman allegedly damaged a vehicle in the carpark. Police allege the woman later approached another car on Main North Rd and threw a brick at it. Sammi Thompson was the driver of that car.
“I didn’t get much sleep last night. flashbacks, nightmares.” Two police officers attempted to arrest the 24-year-old on Yorktown Rd. It’s alleged she bit them on the hand and forearm while resisting arrest. A third police officer who called for support was also assaulted, police said. South Australia police said two police officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
