A statement by the company reads: ”The awards are geared towards acknowledging and celebrating exemplary leaders that have made significant contributions and positive impact in their specific fields as role models, technology giants, innovators, community and inspirational leaders.
The statement also called for nominations for the following categories: Business Innovation award; Industry Leadership award; Leading Corporate Social award; Responsibility award; Leading IT award; Leading oil and gas company in Africa; Lifetime Leadership achievement award; Business Leader of the year; Emerging leader of the year; Leading CEO of the year and Women leadership award.
Others are; Leading Public Service award; Outstanding Investors award; Good Governance award; Leading Bankers award; Politician of Excellence award and Leading Airline award. Nominations will close on April 13.According to the company, the award ceremony will begin with a tour of the House of Lords, then a forum on Governance, Trade, and Investment, to be followed by a networking reception to usher the participants to dinner with entertainment during the presentation of the awards.
It said the key awardee is Benedict Peters of the Aiteo Group, while some of the personalities expected to attend the event include; Festus Mogae, former President of Botswana; Dr. Ernest Kwamina Yedu, Ghana Central Bank Governor; Chief Onikepo Olufunmike Akande, OON, CON, former Nigerian Minister of Trade and Investment; Chief Eniola Fadayomi, FloD, MFR, Chairman, Africa Prudential Plc; Baroness Martha Osamor, Nick Kochan, among others.
