Watford Junction’s railway company will have no service today as drivers are on strike.

This week, Aslef members are walking out on May 7, 8 and 9 at different operators. London Northwestern Railway trains are subject to strike action today meaning no LNR services will operate. There is a glimmer of hope that negotiations will start in a bid to resolve the row after the Rail Delivery Group invited Aslef to talks about exploring any common ground which could break the deadlock last week.

As well as LNR, there are also strikes at Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway, and West Midlands Trains today.Comments: Our rules We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues.
