LIV Golf,PGA Tour

“I sort of liken it to like when Northern Ireland went through the peace process and the Good Friday Agreement, neither side was happy.

Rory McIlroy will be returning to the PGA Tour policy board after the prospect of his return reopened “old wounds”.

“I think there was a subset of people on the board that were maybe uncomfortable with me coming back on for some reason. On the topic of the merger between the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV, McIlroy likened the situation to the Good Friday Agreement and believes that while a deal will inevitably get done, it will probably upset people on all sides.

“That was in 1998 and 20, 25, 30 years ahead, my generation doesn’t know any different. It’s just this is what it’s always been like and we’ve never known anything but peace.
