The girlfriend of one of two Perth brothers killed execution-style on a surfing trip in Mexico has shared a text conversation they had about grief before his death. Callum Robinson, 33, Jake Robinson, 30, and their American friend, Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, were shot in the head and their bodies left in a well in the Mexican state of Baja California.
Poignant text messages shared by Callum Robinson’s girlfriend. The brothers’ remains were identified by their parents earlier this week. The incident was a botched robbery by thieves who wanted their ute for spare parts, authorities believe. Three suspects are being held in connection with the case and one of these three has been charged with forced disappearance, equivalent to kidnapping.
