Prices at the Pumps - May 8, 2024 #saltwire #pricesatthepumps #gaspricesCONCEPTION BAY SOUTH, N.L. — Foxtrap resident Nancy Taylor always dreamed of taking over her family's 50-year-old business.

Taylor's father, Reg, along with his seven brothers and three sisters, grew up in the business. In the late 70s, six of her father's brothers helped her grandfather incorporate the business, expanding their operation across N.L. and Atlantic Canada. "We know we have a good product and we have a product that we are proud of and a history we are proud of," said Taylor.'Half store, half museum'

“Since COVID, we've got a counter set up like at a regular grocery store; where someone has to get it for you. We're set up so you can still see everything, but you can't walk around like you did before.” “It's what kept us in business all these years. We stick to the idea that if we wouldn't eat it ourselves, we wouldn't expect anybody else to eat it. We always try to have the best quality product,” said Taylor.
