- British finance minister Philip Hammond raised the prospect of lawmakers revoking Article 50 this week rather than allowing Britain to leave the European Union without a deal if talks collapse, the Telegraph reported on Tuesday. Hammond warned that the value of the pound could fall significantly if Prime Minister Theresa May fails to reach agreement on a Brexit delay with Brussels, the Telegraph saidHe made the comments during a meeting on Tuesday with other ministers in which various scenarios were discussed, the paper said, without citing sources.

May invoked Article 50 to give notice that Britain was leaving the EU over two years ago, but the details of how, when and even if Brexit will happen are still far from clear.

Civil war

Long extension

Impossible because all arrangements were achieved by the ECB That is stupid minister is very optimistic

Be your last job in government if you do.

England will be Germany's bitch while Churchill is rolling over in his grave.

A Treacherous self indulgent Chancellor that believes in Betrayal of the Electorate and giving into the EEU

ELINTNews They can revoke Article 50 at any time, no?

catastrophic!

Toldja. Dumbasses.

Finally some common sense. The referendum was tainted by illegal campaign spending by Brexiteers and,Arron Banks is still under investigation to determine the source of the money he contributed. Best to take a cautious path here.

British Parliamentarians looked & acted & Behaved like Jokers.

If it is revoked the next Government will be pro Brexit and will invoke it again. Revoking will be a total waste of time and tax payers money.

Britain is a dumpster

So much for the value of a referendum

the finance of inglatera and the United Kingdom they say much case of brexit

Put it (include nodeal) to the people.

The media talks about 'failed states' where the rule of law and democracy no longer apply, as the rights of the people are trodden on. By this definition Britian may be on it's way to becoming a 'failed state'.

it would likely lead to a civil war
