Ex-Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson says that Arne Slot must complete a raid on Crystal Palace and make Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze his first signings for the club.
Whilst arguments could be made to address multiple areas within the squad, it appears Slot is being instructed to first look at his attack. The Eagles duo have produced some eye-catching performances in recent seasons, especially in the past few weeks since new manager Oliver Glasner's system has clicked into place. As well as the Man United demolition referenced by Lawrenson, Eze was responsible for the killer blow when his side left Anfield with a shock 1-0 win last month.
"They’re both fantastic but on the flip side, they get injured a lot so you have to be very careful," he added. "It may be that they’re still growing, or that they find it difficult to play two games a week. But in terms of talent, they’ve both got loads."
