A teenager killed in a horrific crash in Perth’s east has been identified. Dylan Soklich and his two friends were on their way home from a basketball game when their car left Williams St in Gooseberry Hill and rolled several times down an embankment before hitting a tree about 8.40pm on Wednesday.
Teen dead and two others in hospital after Gooseberry Hill crash. The 16-year-old - who had been sitting in the back seat of the Toyota Corolla hatchback - sustained critical injuries and was taken to Midland Hospital, where he died a short time later. His friends - the 17-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger - were airlifted by the RAC Rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital where their conditions have stabilised. Dylan’s family retraced their son’s final moments on Thursday.
