The American workforce is trained to seek a job with a set 40-hour work week, often called the 9-to-5 . This type of job has been sold to us as a path to financial security. And it arguably was in the past when companies expected employees to stick around for most of their careers.

These days, though, there are no guarantees that working for someone else will offer any financial benefits above and beyond a paycheck. And even that can be questionable, as over 300,000 people have been laid off so far in 2024, according to. For many people struggling to make ends meet, the answer isn’t to find another job – it’s to get out of the 9-to-5 mentality and start a business to finally achieve financial freedom.

“I didn’t have any personal freedom when I was working as a police officer. I realized there were many people who were in a similar situation, working tirelessly without enjoying the benefits of it. That’s why I’m dedicated to helping others find ways to improve their financial situation without working themselves to death,” adds Alex.

Having a flexible schedule shouldn’t mean working long hours. And yet, while many people who work remotely have created a schedule that works for them, 55% of workers admit to answering work emails and messages outside of their set office hours, according to a study from the“It can feel weird at first to not be working during typical office hours. By adopting a flexible approach, redefining success, and getting creative, individuals can thrive without being tied to a typical job. The future of work and wealth building is not about rigid schedules but about creating environments where creativity, productivity, and personal well-being can flourish.
