Clive Palmer has said will pay any outstanding entitlements from workers laid off from his Townsville nickel refinery, three years after they lost their jobs. 9News

It comes as Mr Palmer waits to be confirmed as his party’s candidate in the Townsville seat of Herbert, which is held by Labor’s Cathy O’Toole on a razor-thin margin.Queensland Nickel collapsed in 2016 with debts of $300 million, causing the loss of hundreds of jobs.
