The youngster won the hearts of the nation when she appeared on the long-running ITV reality competition back on the first ever season in 2007. Connie finished in second place thanks to her sweet performance of Over The Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz, placing behind the champion, opera singer Paul Potts.
The talented singer is 23 years old now so naturally looks all grown up compared to her stint on the ITV show back in 2007. Connie previously told the Daily Star: "My career went more towards the Asian side of the world. I've always had very loyal followers over there so I'm very grateful for that. I spend a lot of time there. Over here I still have quite a few amazing and loyal people who follow me, but most of my career has been in Asia."
She released an EP called Growing Pains, and explained to her social media followers at the time it was an honest account of her life to date. Acting career After previously teasing flexing her acting chops, Connie made her movie debut last year. She starred in Western romance musical, The Key To The West.She previously told Birmingham Live: "LA is one of my favourite places in the world, I'm planning to shoot a movie, it's either going to be shooting in autumn of this year or spring of next year. It's going to be in Montana and LA, it will be really exciting to spend some time over there.
