Dr Mahathir Mohamad has made good on his election promise to re-negotiate Chinese investments in Malaysia that are tilted in Beijing's favour, says the chairman of LIU Post’s Economics Department. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 15, 2019.
THE successful renegotiation of the deal with China to construct the East Coast Rail Link is a big win for Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and sets Malaysia apart from other nations dealing with the Asian superpower, says a US economist. Good deal grandpa
Pakatan hancing will lost in pru15..
Big win in the words as politician ? It just the manipulation of those contract terms and condition of scope of works and change orders in contract laws? Wait and see the result ? When the project is completed !!!
Just dont fall into the Chinese trap...extra cautious needed at all times...they are good to manipulate n steal anything that doesnt belong to them....history have proven many times...
Too many BN machai here.. Balik la. The world is the same without BN

SyedSaddiq this ecrl is the biggest waste of money ever have been. look. how many people use the rail ? just tell me how many people commute to work using it and you will know your answer? remember the melaka lrt, thats same as this project only much bigger syedsaddiq khairykj
These Americans - they are trying to make Malaysia looks like against China! Don’t politicise the business negotiations between Malaysia and China. Malaysia treats every foreign investors the same and for business deals, we want win win for both party!
