A man and woman were allegedly stabbed multiple times during a violent home invasion in Canberra. An 18-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court over the incident, while ACT Police hunt for three other men allegedly involved. The teenager and the other men allegedly forced their way into the Conder home about 8am on May 4 after the woman answered the door. He then allegedly stabbed the woman multiple times.

Paramedics treated the residents at the home before taking them to hospital with significant injuries. The teenager was arrested in the Western Sydney suburb of Arndell Park on Tuesday, and extradited to the ACT. He has been charged with aggravated burglary, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon with intent. He is scheduled to appear before a court on Wednesday.
