Gov. Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, on Monday urged to customers to pay the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company regularly in order to enjoy 24-hour electricity supply.
He explained that electricity generation and distribution are now undertaken by private sector companies. Bagudu said that the state government had spent over N3 billion from 2016 to 2019 on feeders, transformers, local distribution networks. “Failure by customers to pay is now making it difficult for KEDCO to supply the electricity required in all parts of the state,’’ Bagudu said.
Then where is the 24 hours electricity the honorable minister of power ascribed to?
