BREAKING FAI broke company laws over accounts records, say auditors

The Football Association of Ireland has broken company laws regarding its accounts, according to an auditors' report sent to the Companies Registration Offices.

It declares that the FAI have breached section 281 and section 282 of the Companies Act 2014, which relates to keeping “adequate accounting records”. Yesterday, the FAI's former CEO John Delaney offered to step aside while the organisation's financial affairs are investigated.
