A local artist is making a statement in the Glasgow fashion scene with her newly launched studio store at the Barras Market.
Hannah said the inspiration came off the back of realising that the art world was unaffordable. "It was the last thing on people's mind, especially in this current financial climate. I wanted to put my art on a product that's affordable and available to everyone.", she explained. Hannah prefers to focus on leather jackets where she buys from pre-owned websites such as eBay and Vinted. Each jacket is individually designed and hand painted - sometimes taking up to three weeks to complete. Each piece ranges in price starting at around £100 to £150.
The young artist said she takes a lot of her inspiration from the famous Jackson Pollock, who is widely known for his 'drip technique'.
