Two victims are in critical condition.

WALNUT CREEK — Police arrested a suspect Sunday afternoon following a hit-and-run at the Walnut Creek farmers market early Sunday morning that critically injured two people.

A call was made to police at 5:15 a.m. about the crash, which happened on on Locust Street near Cole Avenue.A police officer located the vehicle and arrested the driver. The names of the victims and driver are being withheld pending investigation.Police encourage witnesses and anyone with more information to call them at 925-943-5844 or the anonymous tip line at 925-943-5865.Ask Amy: I found out my son's friend is my son, too.
